Nice to see this film coming out on Blu Ray format (release scheduled for July 25).

Does anybody know if this has been remastered for Blu Ray release or is just a DVD transfer?

It’s 100% better than the DVD in comparison, a very steady picture that is bright and sharp.
I’ve compared them and it’s a no contest.
Nothing extra on the disc, just pop the BluRay in your player and hit ‘Play Film’.

Further to my original post and Anthony’s reply i watched the Blu Ray last night.
Picture sharpness is excellent and colours vibrant. It really brings the film to life and is miles better that the original, rather grainy DVD version.
Only negative is that its an Australian import release so you may need a ‘all region’ Blu ray player.

To sum up its a superb upgrade to a film that that some fans vote one of his worst movies. In my opinion i would rather sit through this than at least 4 of his other movies that i wont mention in case i offend!!! . C’mon Its Elvis, its Hawaii whats not to like!
